03/18/2010 When a silent film is described as a melodrama i'm often reluctant. But the film was surprisingly good, it isn't as slow paced as other melodramas. the locations where fantastic and there where some impressive dramatic scenes... quite a worthwhile classic german silent film. Pola Negri was good as lead vamp but Albert as the mental patient stole the show...worth a watch!! See more Read all reviews
