Audience Member Shuji Terayama and Gabriel García Márquez is like a match made... in the afterlife. The emphasis of this filmic adaptation is time itself and its undeniable irreversibility, adderssing the impressive atmosphere with absorbing undertones and subplots of human flaws. Excellent poetry on screen; everything begins with the "burial" of time in the opening sequence and the "cycle" completed in the scene that precedes the ending, just before the plot is concluded with the freezing of time: a photograph. 99/100 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
