He puts an ad in the paper for a bride to help him, and gets a response from a woman named Sarah (Glenn Close), who only describes herself as "plain and tall."       Audience Member One of the great 'feel good' movies that Hallmark shows. All three movies in the series (Sarah, Plain and Tall, Skylark, Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winters End) are very much worth your time to see. Suprisingly very good acting from the entire cast.
