Yasser Medina Cinefilia It shows a noticeable chemistry between Cooper and Bergman, but I suspect it's not enough to add any emotional edge to the southern melodrama about whims and class. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 5/10 Aug 4, 2022 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com This romnatic melodrama, the second teaming of Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman, is not as good as For Whom the Bell Tolls, but it's mildly enjoyable and Oscar nominated Flora Robson steals every scene. steve d Entertaining enough because of it's stars. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Bergman is delicious as a willfully naughty woman; Cooper is her near equal. The script creates a perfect balance between youthful melodrama and the yearning for honest love. A solid film, with a powerful 30 ton crash to boot! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful leading lady, beautiful leading man, gorgeous costuming, happy ending...what more could one want on a lazy Sunday afternoon except possibly a glass of wine and bowl of popcorn to go with. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The character development was not quite what it should have been, however the climax made up for it and this film had a splendid conclusion.
