Andrea Gronvall Chicago Reader Surprisingly flat. Too bad, since their story would seem like a can't-miss. May 29, 2019 Full Review Steve Davis Austin Chronicle Shifting from gritty, monochromatic, cinema verité footage shot around 30 years ago to more contemporary interviews... and other scenes filmed in color, the movie feels a little incomplete. Rated: 3/5 Apr 25, 2019 Full Review Peter Rainer Christian Science Monitor What it lacks in coherence is remedied by its verve. Ultimately it's an upbeat movie about life's downbeats. Rated: B Apr 25, 2019 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com A miraculous, exhilarating film about a 30+ year miraculous, exhilarating journey of music and friendship. Rated: 4.0/4.0 Sep 21, 2020 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review The film reveals a heartwarming tale of discovering the importance of music, friendship and the transformative power of both. Rated: 3/4 Jul 29, 2020 Full Review Peter Sobczynski eFilmCritic.com Proves to be surprisingly touching and engrossing for the most part, even as you keep wishing that it filled in more of the details about the life and work of Satan & Adam. Oh yeah, the music is pretty good as well. May 3, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

georgan g I LOVE the blues and these guys could play it...and had a good friendship to boot. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An unexpected treasure. I was just scrolling through and found it. As a performing musician, I was instantly hooked. The music is excellent, as is the story itself, which is as much about their relationship and overcoming unexpected trials as the music. The fact the it is a documentary instead of fiction makes it all the more special. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member If youre a blues officiando thus is a myst see. You coukdnt make this story up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A must see for any music lover. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Wowzer. It has all the wierdness of artists on full display and the magic of art manifesting through that!! Like watching van gogh paint, stop, lose it, and then return to the canvas to paint some more. It really touches on the trancendental of art in so many ways, and a must see for artists, or any odd duck not sure which pond they belong in. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Really nice to see this, stumbled across it on Netflix and am thankful this was open for the world to see.
