Angelena S This deserves far better ratings than it has received. Saul of Damascus brings to life one of the most transformative stories in the Bible—the testimony of Saul, who became Paul. The film captures the weight of his persecution, the radical moment of his conversion, and the immense impact of his ministry. It is slow in the beginning, but it will quickly grab you. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/25 Full Review Johann D. M A biblical drama about the familiar story about Saul of Tarsus who persecutes those who spread the teachings of Jesus, and witnesses the stoning of Stephen, before he reevaluates his beliefs, converting to Christianity and being baptized as Paul. The movie presents the story as it always is, but the actors were not convincing enough to make this work, starting with the hairstyles and the makeup. The production was fine, but I'd still rather watch other adaptations of the story of Paul, the Apostle. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/24 Full Review Read all reviews
