But they're each dealing with a lot more than that. They set off on a road trip together to rescue a pet lizard. A series of ridiculous misadventures ensue and Clara shares news she's been keeping from Sydney. This film is a funny but thoughtful exploration of friendship. The two leads, Jillian and Analesa, gave grounded, emotional performances that left my lower lip wobbling more than once. And what can be said about Buddy Charles (Rex) himself? Words wouldn't do his performance justice. This was a lovely, fun, chill watch and I will be watching again! Yay for friendship films!
