Audience Member Very inspirational and draws on emotions (in a good way). Heartwarming story that resulted from a tragic situation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Outstanding! We don't need fictional heroes. The true stories of courage, devotion, loyalty, faith, and love are better than anything that can be created by a Hollywood script. These young men are a model for all to emulate. It reminds me of a paragraph in the last chapter of John W. Thomason Jr.'s "…And A few Marines" written after WWI. "There is nothing particularly glorious about sweaty fellows laden with killing tools going along to fight…all that is behind those men is in that column too…traditions of things endured and things accomplished, such as regiments hand down forever…and in this, I think, is glory." The young men of the 2012 Penn State squad knew and accepted the character and traditions of those that came before them, and they raised the standard that is handed down to those that will follow. Thank you for telling their story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a well put together documentary that shows the battles those guys went through and the adversity they faced. WE ARE!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie- captures all the emotions of the 2012 season! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Although this film follows the 2012 Penn State Football team and their decision to rise above the significant adversity they faced that season, it's a film about loyalty, about what it means to be a team, and about fighting for something that's even bigger than the team. It's really about what football, or any team sport for that matter, can be for anyone. You will not need to be a Penn State fan, or even a football fan, to appreciate the what this film represents. It's moving, it's powerful, it's worth your time watching. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie/film. Not only will Penn State fans love it. Anyone who likes college football and the commitment and determination of the young men that play football or any sport for that matter will love this film.
