Synopsis
Singer-songwriter Debi DiAngelo (Catherine Mary Stewart) struggles for a foothold in the music business despite the disapproval of her emotionally distant father (Alex Rocco). A musical partnership with cocky, self-destructive new-waver Niles Dresden (Cameron Dye) blossoms into a full-fledged love affair, but Debi's needs for fuller musical and personal self-expression soon begin to chafe against Niles' dictatorial treatment of his bandmates, including presenting Debi's songs as his own.
