Interesting plot and likable main characters. I wanted to know the answer to the mystery, but it is one of those movies where it really is not answered, otherwise I would have given it 3.5 stars.

It intrigues and potentially creeps with familiar form whilst performed ethically till it departs onto unoriginality, downplaying whatever promising thrills and anything worthily considered interesting in this exact narrative copy with logically-defying visual replacement. (B-)

It's rather lame all around as a horror flick. But the set up with this company trying to track these content makers, and the mystery surrounding it is all fairly well done and interesting.

So I figured it would be movie similar to Blair Witch story, you know running everywhere with the camera crying into the video camera because you did something stupid. Well there was a small part where someone was running. Over all I enjoy the jump factor. Good movie when your home alone.

I didn't think this was too bad. The acting was natural and the production quality was nice. Other commentators are correct that it spends far too much time discussing the fictional internet business and not getting to the story we came to see, and the reality is that the film has basically one jump scare that it uses far too many times, but I still enjoyed it. Spoilers: The Jack the Ripper story was fun, well hidden and a welcome addition to the Ripper story, for me.

I give #Screamers the slightest, most blink-and-you-miss nod for gunning right for high-pitched squeals, but concept dynamics will be labeled "cheap" by horror vets (and with good reason).
