Audience Member Screaming Eagles (1956) About D-Day 101st Airbourne Paratroopers going to try and take a bridge. I did not like all the Banter at the beginning of this film. I thought the film started out slow and with way too much conflict I found unbelievable. What made this film interesting was once one of the men was blind by flash wounds yet made him important as a translator speaking French but use a French girl to translate into German. I think once I realized that not everyone would get out alive and that their were real stakes to this story that would play out in the rest of the film I think that is when this film got better.
