Victor O I saw this in the filmography of one of the stars and I thought it looked interesting. A corporate facility in Kazakhstan has been compromised, and the corporation calls a mercenary group known as the Blackjacks to protect its chief scientist. Things seem straightforward, but it's clear that as the men arrive and face off certain threats, they end up realizing that the facility hides a terrible secret that the corporation does not want found out. This looked cool, but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Make no mistake, Eric Roberts plays the same type of role that he always does with a touch of corporate sleaze, but the movie doesn’t delve into much in the way of story and most of the characters are forgettable except for Roberts. The is zero character development. You don't know or care about any of the them. The 'monster' was similar and much more believable in Ghostbusters. The continuity issues are numerous, but did provide glorious distraction from the otherwise awfulness that lies ahead of the next hapless victim who pays $13 for an on demand sack of crap.
