Audience Member Just watched this today for my volunteer work training. Very intense look at women who are survivors of physical and sexual abuse. Although it can be hard to watch at times (nothing graphic is shown, just the women themselves telling their stories and living with this trauma), it was very eye opening and made me appreciate the fact that I have never gone through anything like that. And it makes me want to help people even more. I think if everyone watched this, it could be a stepping stone on the path of less violence towards women. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A younng filmaker, Angela Shelton locates other women named Angela Shelt,on across the United States and takes a road trip to interview those willing to be interviewed for this documentary. The idea was to just use her name to get a snapshot of all women across the country, but what she finds in doing so is that many were abused or suffered childhood molestation as she had. 40% of them as a matter of fact. Her last stop is to see her estranged father...on Father's day. Talking about these things is better than hiding it deep within ones self and that msg along with all have the strength within them to go on in life is the msg here. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member i refuse to believe that this many people with the same name were raped. also, her freak out after meeting with her father seemed all sorts of fake to me. this movie sucks. that said, angela shelton=hot.
