Michael C Sara Suzanne Brown delivers a standout performance in Secret Games, captivating audiences with her portrayal of the trapped housewife Irene. Despite being stuck in a loveless marriage, Irene exudes a unique combination of innocence and sensuality that draws viewers in. It's hard not to be enamored by her beauty and charm, making her the only truly sympathetic character in the film. Director Gregory Hippolyte and star Martin Hewitt return in the sequel to Secret Games to explore the complexities of obsession and desire. Hewitt's character, Kyle, becomes infatuated with the seductive call girl Stacey, played by Amy Rochelle. Meanwhile, Irene finds herself falling for Kyle, despite his obnoxious behavior and mistreatment of those around him. While some may find the film's asides and direct-to-camera moments a bit jarring, they provide insight into the characters' thoughts and feelings. It's through these moments that we see Kyle's obsession with Stacey and Irene's yearning for something more in her life. Overall, Secret Games is a must-see for fans of low-budget independent films. With a talented cast, including the captivating Sara Suzanne Brown, and the skilled writing of Russell La Valle, this film explores the darker side of desire and obsession in a way that leaves a lasting impression on its audience. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/12/23 Full Review Audience Member There's no spark between college professor Heather and Kyle (Martin Hewitt) any more. He was once an art critic and now he's a performance artist, which she finds pretty stupid. Once she leaves him, he just calls over Stacey to dominate him but she can't love him. Irene loves him too, but he's infatuated with Stacey, so… He's also videotaping his life and keeps talking directly to the camera. So is sex just as cold and calculating as Kyle's art? Was Dark sick and tired of not just sex — he'd come back to adult to make sequels to New Wave Hookers, Between the Cheeks and The Devil in Miss Jones 5: The Inferno before making videos for Sublime, Onyx and, in a fact that still blows my mind, Mandy Moore, Britney Spears and A*Teens — so maybe if he's tired of sex, we should all watch and learn. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly i really enjoying it, full with the right amount if cliche. - https://pintrovrt.com/ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrible acting as you might expect. Simple but mildly engrossing storyline. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
