John C 02/21/2024 The casts are good but sadly the storyline is borderline average. There were quite a number of issues in this movie: 1. story failed to show the closeness between the characters. Hence when one shed tears for another who died or sacrificed to save the rest, audience cannot feel the pain. 2. Last 20 mins or so of the movie, Ha Ji-won fought the monster without saying a single word from her mouth. Feels weird. 3. Many many illogical parts. Eg Monster can re-appear on the helipad just moments after plunging into the sea from a such a great height. The injured creature still move around with great speed. 4. Poor music selection for most scenes. 5. Not much or no suspense at all. Creature made its grand entry at very early part of the movie. One consolation is the CGI quality, not too bad for a 2011 movie.
