In the West End of 1950s London, plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. For Agatha Christie and golden age mystery fans, See How They Run’s derivative nature is its appeal. The film isn’t doing anything new but it’s not trying to, the whole point is to colour within the same lines, but maybe use a few different shades.

When talking about whodunits in his opening narration, Leo remarks: “if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.” But that doesn’t make a good whodunit any less enjoyable. And See How They Run is definitely enjoyable.

Unfortunately, it was boring. How many times has this type of thing already been done? I was hopeful, but disappointed. And a total waste of Sam Rockwell's talent. Some good one liners from Saoirse, but not enough to make up for boredom.
