gregory a One of the best films of the year so far. Director & Co-Writer Stefon Bristol, Co-Writer Fredrica Bailey, and actress Eden Duncan-Smith pull off a creative and enthralling film. I expected a "feel-good" teen film, but I got a great story that comments on American in the 21st Century. I look forward to more films from all involved. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member While I appreciate the social issues this movie addresses, I just can't excuse the absolutely glaring plot holes. Additionally, the problem doesn't lie at all with the actors. There were many strong performances, but the overall design and writing were clunky and often absurd. The actors deserved better than the mess that was the plot of this movie. This is also the fourth Netflix original movie in a row I have seen that had an ending that tried so hard to be original and interesting but instead felt like a disappointing gimmick. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The only reason I'm giving this movie 3 stars is the short film (2017) was a much better fit. If they had made the full-length film closer to how it originally was, continuing from where the short film left off, I think I would have enjoyed this film much more than I did, since the story felt much more emotional with how things unraveled in it in comparison to how they did in this. Still a fun movie though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Alan W A culture flic posing as sci fi. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/22/19 Full Review Audience Member Movie was decent.... very predictable though and the ending was frustrating... its your typical "nothing good can come from changing stuff in the past" kind of movie. I would love to see a time travel movie where they go back in time to fix something and things actually go according to plan and nothing in the future gets messed up... it was a very ok movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Self indulgent nonsense, that gets lost in its own sense of self righteous outrage and gives up on narrative with a thouroughly unlikeable main character who learns litterally nothing throughout the whole film. Honestly truly terrible.... avoid. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
