Seeta (Sanjeev Kumar) is an unhappy heiress who is mistreated by her aunt, Kaushalya (Roopesh Kumar), who holds the purse strings in the household even though her wealth comes from Seeta's late parents. Despondent, Seeta runs off to end her life, but is rescued and mistaken for her lost twin sister, Geeta (also Malini), who grew up poor and became a tough-minded street performer. The two switch places, surprising those around them by their drastically changed temperaments.

Audience Member Hema Malini was one of the few actresses in 70`s and 80`s who could be called an Action Hottie. She was verstaile. I really enjoyed this Movie. Still, it's great stuff with Hema Malini showing her versatility - can't think of anybody else from that era who could've pulled it off. Most actresses could probably only do the innocent, good-girl role, but Hema manages the rebellious, tough-talking sister with ease. Love the fight at the end - goes on forever!
