This may not be the very best version of Sense and Sensibility, but it’s certainly a good one. Much loving attention has been paid to all the details that went into this film, from costumes to hair, and the cast serves the material well.

It isn’t better than the 1995 Ang Lee version, nor does it attempt to reach that level, but the acting, costumes, settings, and changes (including a Black-led cast) make it a worthy addition to the Austen adaptation canon.

This film has the quality of illustrations lifted off the pages of a book of fairytales. The characters are flawless, the costuming is vivid whimsy flirting on the fantastical, and the storytelling carries the harder edges of heartache too.

How is it possible that this movie has 100% tomatometer? first, the acting was incredibly horrible, this movie is bad copy of Bridgerton (tv show). If you want to watch a great adapted version of this book, Sense and Sensibility (1995) with Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet in the cast, that's is my recomendation.

Halmark does a pretty good with this Jane Austin adaptation. If you can move pass the commercial breaks and "interesting" choice of costumes then its a enjoyable take on a timeless classic.
