This movie holds a special place in my heart. I can remember going to the theater to see it. Classic Sesame Street! What an adventure and the cameos are enjoyable, too!

I that that I can get tickled by the Sesame Street muppets endtal I have see this is movie o boy one flashing lights where big bird turns blue in the blue lights o taught this movie is goofy it sounds to be it's way to the box office and even the ratings are really offensive and even follow that bird I hope if for sequel for the next chapter for Dave Thomas and for the other who pass away to a love lettter

This was another seldom talked about kids movie that I assumed would be too vanilla and dated to be worth watching where I ended up being completely wrong. The plot is an effective metaphor for racial prejudice, the songs have comedy in them and there just aren't a lot of bad road trip movies out there. My 8-year-old son especially liked it and has brought it up a few times in the weeks since we watched this.

Better than your average preschooler movie, Follow that Bird can't hide the fact that it's an extended episode of Sesame Street but the plot, writing and celebrities make it quite the expectation-exceeder given its "competition".
