      Critics Consensus

Grim and morose, Seven Pounds is also undone by an illogical plot.

David J This is a fantastic movie the but critics give it low ratings.. They want the movie to be linear and everything to make sense in the right order.. it's a brilliant movie but you have to watch the whole thing to understand it .. it's not sci-fi but I think it borrows all the pieces fit eventually some parts are presented in flashbacks .. till you understand the whole thing and I enjoyed watching it.. I've probably seen it four times because it's such a good movie 🍿 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Zeen A a wonderful movie, it did remind me that i have every thing in life i can see speak walk and even run the list goes on and on , i have taken all of these for granted i really have to appreciate it more, it also showed me how noble it's to be an organ donor it gives you the chance to live after dying to give a life for whom who needs it. its a great movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Ilson Simão S É forte e reflexivo, Will smith salvou o filme, a ideia é boa mas mal desenvolvida e não é possível que os roteiristas não pensaram num final melhor. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review S P Great acting, hard to see where the plot is heading. Not a bad film, but not quite sure of the goal or the ideas of the movie. Unorthodox in a strange way. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Not only is the idea so far out to be only fiction, it is so sadly executed that you can be pardoned for thinking Will Smith has remade Hancock, with less booze, more heart but as many powers and apparently as much grief.
