A pair of neighboring Mexican couples have domestic lives that are far from blissful. Ana (Susana Zabaleta) and Carlos (Victor Huggo Martin) struggle with his jealous temperament and her need for more physicality. Meanwhile, Miguel (Jorge Salinas) and Andrea (Cecilia Suárez) have constant, heated arguments. When Ana's ex-boyfriend, Tomás (Demián Bichir), drops in on her and Carlos, and old flame Maria (Monica Dionne) visits Miguel and his wife, fractures are created and tensions come to a head.
