A man (D.Y. Sao) is captured by police and tells his story. Attempting to hide from mobsters, he accepted a job as a security officer in a building with strange residents. When someone starts kidnapping children, he encountered violence of human and not so human kinds. Enjoyed this film. It's a visceral film you view for the action and odd characters. D.Y. Sao, who was a utility stunts performer in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, isn't a good actor but he impresses with his martial arts displays. The world building is engaging and many of the costumes are well done. A strangely appropriate but accidental double feature which I viewed this and Darken. Each has a similar theme of a stranger entering a building with it's own society.

This could have been a 2 part movie with more in-depth look at the individual Horsemen, more lore, ANYTHING to create actual pace that this movie lacked. The action scenes were good, but the pacing was terrible, and the story is... Pieced together(???).

fight scenes were obviously performed by world class martial artists. the lead: DY Sao is amazing and a future action star. fights got better and better and the ending fight with Brian Le is a great ending fight scene. Brian gave DY a fight worthy of giving the hero a real believable challange!
