Audience Member Two brothers fought on opposite sides of the civil war (Selleck / Elliot) - but when their family is abducted and taken to Mexico, they team up to rescue them. It's cheesy like the western show at Six Flags, but also decently entertaining. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot make a great pair in this film as they play brothers on opposing sides of the Civil War who work together to save women kidnapped by Confederate soldiers. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review dave j Adapted from the short story by Luis L'Amour stars Yankee, Tom Selleck as Mac in peculiar circumstances teams up with his older brother Confederate soldier Dal played by Sam Elliot to retrieve some of their nieces and Dal's wife, Kate (Sam Elliot's real life wife Katherine Ross) from a human smuggling operation for the expectation of rifles. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice story, enterteining.. Solid perfomance from Selleck as usual Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review don s A straight-forward western set at the end of the Civil War, though other than brothers fighting on opposite sides, it has nothing to do with the war. This was made for TV, so the production values are what you'd expect. Selleck and Elliott were made for westerns - very believable. Witty adventure I enjoyed.
