05/30/2012 Clever,the combination of Chinese and Japanese's martial arts.Some of the best fights had been captured.It's true that a short misunderstanding will cause a lot of troubles.Thanks to Director Chia Liang Liu ,who always brought us a pure fun martial arts movies on 80s.Master Gordon Liu had shown a great skills of Kung Fu in here and those Japanese actors did a great job too.:) See more 05/30/2012 Great fight scenes combining different martial arts techniques from two different cultures. The message of respect and See more 05/30/2012 One of Lau Kar leungs greatest movies ever. with fights scenes that are sharp, fast, detailed and enthralling, it is sometimes hard to forget it's plotline, which breaks negative stereotypes long been held in china. roughly speaking, this film is Shakespeare's Taming of the shrew with kung fu added but it representsthe japanese (long-time chinas devil characters in movies, almost moreso then white guys!!) as humans and actually makes a comment upon the entire japanese-chinese relations at that time.
