christopher c. m Whoever wrote the summary for the IMBD obviously never saw it. The movie story is more as I wrote it which isn't as epic as IMBD said it was. Plus NO SPOILERS but just when it looks like the movie is setting up for the final battle, it just ends. It's not really good or really horrible. The fighting is pretty epic but fights or stunts isn't enough to call a movie good or bad. I fear the most I can feel about this one is just MEH. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member "I swear I don't want to hurt anyone, I just want to be reincarnated!" The hopping zombies famous from "Encounters of the Spooky Kind" and the "Mr. Vampire" series stop obeying the Buddhist priests' commands. The version I watched was dubbed, which made it particularly bad-funny. A lot of pee jokes, which seem so prevalent in Asian film, particularly Hong Kong cinema. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Very entertaining!! LOL! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a really misleading movie on all fronts. It shouldn't be called Shaolin vs Evil Dead..it should be called Mr Bald vs Brother Black. There's a title for ya but I guess it wouldn't sucker fans of Shaolin kung fu & Evil Dead movies into watching it..like me. Gordon Liu carries a lot of weight in this flix that has terrible pacing, some pointless scenes & the most abrupt ending that I have ever seen in a film. The sequences that run during the end credits are more awesome then everything in the movie combined & it makes me wonder if it's just a prelude to its sequel. I'll have to see because this was like eating Kraft dinner. No nutrition & 50% powdered cheese Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie with a title like that has no excuse to be this boring. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Kind of hilarious in a gory way. Thank god Ric Meyers previews this stuff at SDCC.
