BRizz 2 Sharkenstein is exactly what you’d expect from its title—a cinematic disaster that somehow manages to be even worse than anticipated. Imagine if Dog the Bounty Hunter met Tiger King, slapped on a lab coat, and decided to create a Frankenstein-style shark. That’s essentially the premise, and unfortunately, it’s every bit as ridiculous and painful to watch as it sounds. The film suffers from some of the worst acting I’ve seen in years. The cast feels completely lost, delivering their lines with zero conviction, while the writing is so atrocious it almost feels like the script was thrown together over a weekend just for laughs. The shark itself is laughably bad—so cartoonish and poorly designed that any sense of tension or horror is completely obliterated. And don’t even get me started on the blood effects; the water turns into a bright pink highlighter color that’s so fake, it’s distracting in the worst way possible. Adding to the chaos is the “scientist” character, whose accent is so cringe-worthy and inconsistent it’s almost unbearable to listen to. It’s the kind of performance that makes you question why you’re still watching the film. I’ve been on a hunt for “so-bad-it’s-good” movies—films that are hilariously awful but still manage to be entertaining. Sadly, Sharkenstein doesn’t even make it into that category. It’s not clever, it’s not fun, and it’s certainly not worth your time. Final Verdict: A low-budget mess with no redeeming qualities. Avoid this one at all costs. Rating: 0.5/5 stars. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/14/23 Full Review Audience Member 😍 I thoroughly enjoyed the sensual moments between Sharkenstein and the middle-aged blond woman in this film. Their existential love interest really rounded out this already spectacular film. This movie really ah eh pushed the boundaries of filmmaking. pushed it real good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member If your standards for entertainment are low, this is the movie for you! The crappy visual effects, recycled scenes, low-grade acting, bad cinematography, nonsensical plot, and shitty soundtrack all made this flick a joy to watch! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I have NEVER watched this film, but just seeing the special effects and a review of this film, I realized that it is horrible.
