A A small budget, huge impression! iconic show! missed the "huge" battles though Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/22 Full Review Audience Member Sean Bean and Daragh O'Malley are back as swashbuckling hero's, Sharpe and Harper in a wonderfully entertaining, lavish and action-packed adventure. Bean shows undeniable star-power in his signature role as Sharpe. A terrific two-part mini-series. It is great to see Sharpe back in the saddle on horseback, sword-play and pistols in hand in this thrilling and fun movie. They don't get better adventures than this. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Sharpie is back, dishing it out and taking his knocks too. A dangerous mission (of course), incompetent British officers, a beautiful Generals daughter, action and daring do. This movie continues Sharpies adventures, now in India this has all the elements that I enjoyed from the series - keep em coming! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not a bad film. Better directing and actors all around could have drastically improved it, though the script could have used some work with the fairly predictable dialogue. I've now watched the first one and this, and the greatest strength of these films is also the greatest weakness: Sean Bean casts a huge shadow. Not to say he's overacting. It's simply that he seems so real in the role, and almost every other actor seems to be trying so hard. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not a bad film.
