A A absolutely epic ! my childhood relived Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/05/22 Full Review Audience Member It was a good show shot on a budget before cgi could make up for the lack of numbers of extras to make the battle scenes correct Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The Sharpe series of made-for-TV films based of the series of books by Bernard Cornwell, is one of the most entertaining about the peninsula war against Napoleon. It has some great original music in the form of "over the hills and far away" and although Sharpe was made on a low ITV budget and it is historical fiction. Its entertainment not a retelling of an actual historical event. Bare this in mind when watching it. Some terminology and small details may be abit off. Dedicated historians such as myself will notice things like that. But it doesn't take away from the brilliant performance of Sean Bean and his supporting cast. All fantastic characters and actors. All in all, it's well worth a watch. Especially for Sean Bean fans! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member l think this episode was from the first series. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Sean Bean can shoot. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Watched Sharpeâ(TM)s Rifles yesterdayâ¦..it was awesome :D, if I ever was in a battle, I would gladly follow Lieutenant Richard Sharpe into battle. The idea of an uprising being inspired by just the rising of a flag was fair, but more importantly, we got Patrick Harper, Daniel Hagman, and even Teresa introduced.
