This is one of the best movies what would stay in your mind for years to come. The young director just expert in telling the story with suspense and thrilling with twists. Joan Chen and Xiao Yang with their amazing portrayal of their respective role are in tandem to just make you glue every scene and curiously guessing what comes next. A must movie to watch

Every bit as good as "Parasite" (perhaps even better) without the hype. A perfect picture of class disparities and a touching story of the lengths a father will go to protect his family.

It is rare that I give something a top rating and safe this only for the best. This movie has a bit of most aspects of movie genres in it and is full of surprises. It is fast and direct but includes all the details properly without wasting any time on it. What is also very nice is that this is a Chinese movie and not some Hollywood goes to china thing. One big difference that shows this is that the director expects the audience to have a little intelligence to figure few little things out themselves without having to explain it all over in needles conservations.
