Dreadful. Such hope with such a clever title just turned into a sheer disappointment as I tried endlessly to enjoy this. There was no satisfaction in celebrating my dog-loving ways against my cat hatred.

Though a blast of a disaster, the movie loses itself a bit when it tries to be too weird and doesn't stick the landing as well as cohorts like Napoleon Dynamite. The gag, unfortunately, doesn't outlast the run time.
