Petros T A realistic, concise, direct, unpretentious, poignant take on boyhood and the stereotypes inflicted on boys. The two kids are very good, their interplay and reactions capturing that age very well, and the adult presence (the domineering, influential coach, the berating invisible voice of Noel's father and eventually the voice of logic that is Viggo's dad) is on point as it accurately conveys where the pressure comes from, how it feels and that a different approach is both necessary and feasible.
