Tessa B @Tdotohdot Dec 11 Repetitive, overly expository dialogue. The entire film is pretty much just the same arguments about pregnancies, menstruation, and being hungry getting rehashed in a series of living rooms and restaurants. The characters have zero depth and development— the viewer barely has any idea who these people are. All we know is that there are multiple pregnancies happening and that none of these people get along. The cinematography was terrible. Lots of close up shots of butts, and stock footage of a depressing intersection repeated over and over. The editing involved overly zealous sound effects to emphasize dramatic comments in the dialogue. It was kind of funny at first, but very eye roll-worthy the hundredth time. Some of the most interesting plot developments were written in footnotes at the end of the film. No idea why this film was two hours, because basically nothing happens. See more Read all reviews
