Greg K @GregZ Aug 4 Very fine aged sinister austrian thriller. Touches on delicate themes and has the viewer think about long lasting power structures of rich elites and their sick wrongdoings. See more 11/23/2008 this one had the weird feeling of being a very long episode from a cop show - gone wrong. kept expecting simon pegg (hotfuzz) to pop up (in fact the lead guy quite looked like him sometimes). but the brits would NEVER go this far. so THAT's how opera singers keep their vocal chords in shape - eeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. See more 11/18/2008 black, black humor! i loved it! one of my favorites. See more 10/11/2008 this was a lot of fun. Sure it has its faults (trying to pack too much in being one of them) but more than enough good points to make up for them. Hader is great as the anti-hero. And there's a lot of mileage to be had poking fun at the catholic church. See more 03/26/2008 Another great movie with Josef Hader. Typically Austrian humor mixed with lot's of suspense and a great plot. A good adaption of the great novel. See more 02/25/2008 Excellent thriller with some very warped/scary goings on in a place usually more famed for its opera and rather yummy patisseries. See more Read all reviews
