One day, the adventurous Juliette and her sister Carmen find an enchanted toy and get swept away into the Kingdom of Winds. They are transformed into cats and find themselves in a fantastical new world full of flying divas, technicolor dragons, and other mind-melting creations. When Juliette causes an accident that draws the ire of the local inhabitants, the Mayor gives Juliette to the beautiful songstress Selma and sentences Carmen to marry his son as punishment. The sisters must find a way to escape before the wedding bells ring, but the key to their journey home lies with Sirocco, the mysterious wizard feared for his ferocious storms.

An interesting pastiche of Ghibli animation. The story may hold up children, not too complicated and not much moral, bright characters. But what's most striking is the producers' apparent greed. They willingly release and promote their work in a terrorist country, one that continues its violent invasion, mercilessly bombing Ukrainian cities, killing innocent civilians, killing and kidnapping Ukrainian children. By choosing to distribute this film in such a country, they show disregard for the suffering and destruction inflicted on Ukraine daily. It's disheartening to see art used this way. Truly, pecunia non olet - money doesn't stink, even when it's bloodstained!

The animation was spectacular. Very imaginative and whimsy. A cross between wizard of oz, adventure time, alice in wonderland etc. I gave this film a lower score because I felt that the film lacked a strong story point and character development.

Synopsis
