SISU: ROAD TO REVENGE is a wall-to-wall cinematic action event, a sequel to the original sleeper hit SISU. Returning to the house where his family was brutally murdered during the war, "the man who refuses to die" (Jorma Tommila) dismantles it, loads it on a truck, and is determined to rebuild it somewhere safe in their honor. When the Red Army commander who killed his family (Stephen Lang from Don't Breathe) comes back hellbent on finishing the job, a relentless, eye-popping cross-country chase ensues -- a fight to the death, full of clever, unbelievable action set pieces.

Wendy Ide Observer (UK) When I say that this is an absolute blast, I do mean it literally. Nov 25, 2025 Full Review Kevin Maher The Times (UK) The writer-director Jalmari Helander invests the set-pieces with a welcome air of Looney Tunes absurdity, somehow neutralising the horror of mass murder. Rated: 3/5 Nov 24, 2025 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety This larger-scaled sequel almost inevitably lacks some of the freshness that made the original such a kick. Still, the director’s undeniable flair for gleefully excessive mayhem and propulsive pacing will more than satisfy those who loved its predecessor. Nov 24, 2025 Full Review Michael Clark Epoch Times These two movies aren’t for everyone. They are extremely violent, but no more so than the most R-rated action flicks. Here’s a good qualifier: Did you think "Saving Private Ryan" was too graphic? If so, don’t see "Revenge," it’s not for you. Rated: 4/5 Nov 30, 2025 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu After thrashing Nazis in the first film, this sequel takes the fight to the Soviets in a relentless cross-country quest for revenge Nov 29, 2025 Full Review Tom Meek Cambridge Day Road to Revenge is lean, and necessarily so, as it’s one note. The bloody orgy of bullets and metal mangled mayhem likely isn’t for all, but will certainly please fans of the original. Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 26, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews
