Audience Member What's with the laughably misleading DVD cover? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent little crime thriller/mystery. An unknown hidden gem. Engaging performances, a tight solid script, and superb directing. For being shot on a shoestring budget this film certainly hits home. Forget "The Good Son" or "Joshua". Skeletons in the Closet crushes those films! "Treat Williams plays the father, raising his teenaged son (Jonathan Jackson) on the New Hampshire coast. The son is rebellious, like any teenager but almost dangerously so. Prone to keeping to himself and lashing out in a violent manner, when unsolved murders begin to turn up, Dad begins to suspect that his son may be involved." Don't expect any gore or any extreme violence. This film isn't about all of that. It focuses more on building suspenseful tension through the studies of creepy character development. It moves at a very slow pace but never falls flat, thanks to some wonderful acting and intriguing dialogue. This is the kind of film that will have you guessing till the very end. I highly recommend this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie in my opinion, kept ya guessing almost till the end Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Wow, I wish the plot really matched the flixster cover art. Instead, it's an ok Lifetimey affair with maybe an ounce of suspense and a half ounce of character. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The ultracheap production completely distracts from a reasonably good story. The decent cast does a good job, but when they don't have much to work with, their efforts are in vain. There are some suspenseful moments, but again the production is so poor, it ruins it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I rented out my RV to the production company that made this movie. The actors & actresses used it between scenes.
