Audience Member Kai returns to town to bury (burn) his abusive mother. But it drudges up memories of a fateful crash and Peter - a boy in the woods. As he inhabits his mom's old house, murders start to happen. But is it him or Peter? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review don s A moody Norwegian psychological horror movie. A young man returns to his hometown due to the death of his mother, who severely abused him as a child. Returning brings back memories of an accident he caused on the night he escaped from his mother's clutches in which another young boy was left orphaned when a semi ran over his parents in their car. Strange things begin to happen in the sleepy little town after he returns... Not a great movie, but it held my interest. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Hidden was selected as an entry at the After Dark Horrorfest. In this psychological horror tale, Kai returned to his hometown after his abusive mother died and left him her house in her will, strange things began to happen. It's quite decent but moved very slowly. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member With strong focus on atmosphere, slow-burn horror and musical cooperation, this Norwegian horror-film goes against the typical blood-splattering cliche of Norwegian horror films Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow-paced and a little faltering to bring everything to an inscrutable denouement. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A Norwegian psychological horror/thriller featuring excellent cinematography and acting. The Norwegian forest setting sets the mood perfectly and slow pacing works great. Where the movie falls short is telling a cohesive story. We are provided various clues as to what's really going on, but they are so sketchy and contradictory, it's almost maddening trying to tie them together into anything even remotely conclusive.
