delysid d whats up with the low rating fellas? this movie is great Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/17/21 Full Review Audience Member Rather silly Airport derivitive. Not very good. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member It did some cool stuff, but like, can you write a red herring or something in there jeez. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilariously clichéd hijacked plane popcorn. The Zuckers must have used this as the template for Airplane!: it has the lot - pregnant women, senators, shell-shocked Korean War vets... ...and Ben-Hur piloting the plane while smoking a pipe! For the first 45 minutes it's hugely enjoyable as long as you've switched off your brain. A pity that the second half suddenly slows to a crawl and what little action is confined to James Brolin's neurotic twitching. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the lesser known disaster films from 1970's despite starring Charlton Heston is pretty decent. Takes something relatively routine (several characters in a precarious position) and adds plenty of suspense into the mix though I don't think a plane being hijacked had been done at that point so relatively original. Good production and score while being a good distraction. Nothing really special but not awful either, unlike what came about towards the end of the decade. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review ashley h Skyjacked is a decent film. It is about crazed Vietnam vet bomber who hijacks a Boeing 707. Charlton Heston and James Brolin give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. John Guillermin did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the adventure and drama. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
