Audience Member Emotionally charged actioner has title character hired to recover his ex-girlfriend who has been kidnapped in the Philippines. Weighed down largely by Sloane's often chauvinistic, conceited personality. The kind of Filipino venture that could use the guiding hand and expertise of acclaimed Director Cirio Santiago. Sloane is lured back to Manilla to rescue his former girlfriend who is being held captive by a powerful underworld figure. Addition of a cave-dwelling cannibalistic dwarf colony late in the film almost destroyed the first 85 minutes.
