The movie is a fun b horror movie, if go into this expecting anything else you're gonna be sorely mistaken. That being said the film is a real good time, I think that this is a good throw it on and laugh along kinda movie

Fans of the 1976 film Squirm will notice more than a few passing similarities between Jeff Lieberman's slimy cult classic and this late 80s copycat. Instead of electrified killer worms terrorizing a rural Georgia town, Slugs focuses on-you guessed it-mutated carnivorous slugs gnawing their way through the suburbs. And while the gore effects are satisfyingly disgusting, the often incongruous musical choices, choppy editing, and schizophrenic dialogue really turn up the camp level to 11. Definitely drive-in double feature material.
