Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com It helps to have two terrific actors in Rey Goyos and Michael Teh, both bringing vibrancy and emotional resonance to Sarrow's sharp and intelligent dialogue. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Mar 12, 2025 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Smile As You Kill is a well-produced, well-acted thriller. Rated: 9/10 Jan 22, 2025 Full Review Rebecca Johnson Film Focus Online Well acted with a thought-provoking premise, Smile As You Kill is a competent indie film that despite squandering its attempt to keep you on the edge of your seat, keeps you invested with deliciously dark comedy. Charlene S The acting in this movie is barely watchable. The only reason why I watched until the end is because everyone gave it such good reviews. Although I did fast forward it a few times because of the boring parts. Gunshot in the beginning and only one lady hears it in the whole apartment building. It would have went through someone's floor, wall or ceiling. Two gun shots at the end and nobody hears it. All of the positive reviews have to be from people who don't watch a lot of movies, friends of the people in the movie or paid reviewers. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/09/25 Full Review Kim R Very well done. Plot twists were unexpected and made me both sympathetic and contemptuous of both characters at moments. Actors were believable and nuanced. Loved the artistic components of this lower-budget production. Bravo - can't wait for more! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review F2 F A suspenseful thriller with great plot twists and punchy dark comedy. The actors were well developed characters that turned in great performances. A well done movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/25 Full Review suprina z This was very well produced and fantastic actors !! This hooks you from the opening scene It’s not just a film , It’s an experience that dares you to look beneath the surface ! Loved it !!! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/25 Full Review Stephan P Fun, jndie pressure cooker thriller. Tight script, great performances by the two leads, I cared for the characters. Some great humorous moments too. Only reason for 4 stars is the directing and lighting/framing felt flat and soap’ish. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/25 Full Review L S There are twists and turns in this thriller. The writing is clever and coming from an advertising background I found it to be compelling.
