Dane C My roommates and I cannot recommend this movie highly enough! Written and starring William Katt, obviously praying to every pantheon of gods to misdirect people searching Katt Williams, this odyssey of the senses harkens to its influences of The Heart of Darkness, Indiana Jones, and The Bible. It has the camera quality and dialogue of a 90's porno where everyone has run out of illicit substances, or basically the average day in West Virginia. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Watching dumb people do dumb things to escape snakes. Didn't anyone think of using those torches all around the jungle compound to get rid of the snakes? And it seemed every scene where 'we got to make it back to the boat' the trail always seemed longer. But I have give this film a top rating for being the first in cinematic history to use a riding lawn mower to escape the island, chopping up snakes along the path, while cutting grass too! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Between the stiff acting, cheesy effects and dialogue that was bafflingly written by two grown men, there's plenty of unintentional humor to be found in Snake Island. A film like this would be perfectly excusable, and even a great learning experience... if it was done by kids just wanting to have fun. The fact that this was somehow done by adults for adults poses the question: exactly how much did they abuse the open bar they clearly had on set? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member One of those movies that is SO BAD it's enjoyable. I watched this film in 2008, and still remember it 5 years later. It is worthy of a watch if you are bored and looking for some cheap fun. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Worst movie I've ever seen. I mean dancing snakes really?!?
