Emily G Beautiful story and I love the cast! The direction, editing, music are all fantastic. Brilliant production design and costume design. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/31/23 Full Review Adam C Good story well written, excellent direction by my childhood crush Melanie Mayron. The ONLY criticism I have is that the 95-minute script could have been expanded just slightly with a better mechanism than the Diabolus Ex Machina thrown at us at the end. Perhaps a more involved reason for how things ended up; one that involved all four people and the relationships between them. Harder to write, yes, but it would have made for a better film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/11/23 Full Review Lindy J So glad I found this movie. Piper Laurie is incredible as the matriarch with a BIG secret. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/15/22 Full Review Trixie B So glad I discovered this film. Piper Laurie is outstanding as the family matriarch. The story is beautiful and shocking. The two young lovers plated by Emily Goss and Shannon Collis are very very believable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/12/22 Full Review isla s This is a sad film but also quite a touching film. I like how it cuts between different times, different generations. There is a poignany about it and its somewhat thoughtful. I'm glad I saw it. It does feature an LGBT storyline, so that may put some off it but I thought it was a good film anyway, so I'd recommend it, yes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member What a fantastic movie. It's been a while since I've been moved so emotional from a movie such as this… it's not you typical lesbian movie. It has a duel effect from the aspect of crazy, non-communicative family drama to a women who found her true love and never forgot. It does a great job of showing the love that two women can share for one another and the lingering effects it has on the heart. This film depicts the love, excitement, happiness, and tenderness that such a relationship between women can be; with no apologies. I especially loved the tenderness of the love scene and the care they took in showing their love. It's a wonderful thing to see such reality portrayed. If you are a person that has been in this type of relationship then you understand exactly what I'm saying. This type of experience can be and is certainly a paradigm shift in one's life. I know it was for me! So, thank you for such a great story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Guy Lodge Variety "Snapshots" wallows a little too readily in cliché to be quite as stirring as its story - one drawn from Corran's own family history - sounds on paper. Jul 31, 2018 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Well-acted and affecting. Jul 26, 2018 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times "Snapshots" nicely shuttles between past and present to tell its affecting, evocative tale of familial and romantic love among several generations of women. Jul 26, 2018 Full Review Marya E. Gates Cool People Have Feelings, Too. (Substack) While the film is maybe a little too earnest for its own good, the performances across the board are fantastic. Feb 12, 2024 Full Review Rachel Brook One Room With A View Though some of its flaws feel like rather amateur stumbles, Snapshots is clearly well-meaning and keenly felt. Rated: 3/5 Feb 14, 2019 Full Review Jarrod Walker FILMINK (Australia) ...stilted and artificial. Rated: 10/20 Feb 6, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
