The enduring franchise's 12th installment is also one of its best. It's a blend of thrilling practical action and political commentary that dares to consider, and condemn, what happens after the credits roll on most action films. Go to Full Review

W S @WarDog 5d I was bored, saw this on Netflix, decided to watch 5 minutes or so, expecting some goofy Steven Segal- level of "action." So I scan to a big fight scene towards the end of the film and was gobsmacked with one of the cooler actions scenes I have ever seen. The actual "sniping" is the worst part, but the CQB and hand to hand combat was actually really good, choreographed and shot like a top-tier A-list holly wood action scene. It is 1000% worth watching that part. The rest of the movie might suck, as others have suggested, but that one scene is pretty darn good, especially for a film called "Sniper:No nation" LOL See more Don T @RT39991275 6d Couldn't watch it more than 15 minutes. Bad acting, terrible slow motion scenes, and the idea that the USA would disown members if it's special forces to appease a piss-ant country are among the many reasons to avoid this trash. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jul 24 Sniper: No Nation is another entry in a franchise that feels like it is running out of new ideas. While the concept of a sniper-focused action film has plenty of potential, this movie delivers a familiar story that feels very similar to what has already been done before. It has the action, the violence, and the expected military elements, but it lacks the depth and character development needed to make it stand out. The biggest issue is the screenplay. The story feels flat, predictable, and never creates enough emotional investment to make the audience care about what is happening. Instead of building a compelling world or memorable characters, the film focuses more on action sequences without adding much substance behind them. There are definitely missed opportunities here. A sniper universe could offer complex characters, intense strategy, and deeper storytelling, but this installment feels like another rushed addition rather than something meaningful. See more James W @RT08097755 Jul 23 I think it should be absolutely illegal to make a "part I" of anything, and not label it as such. This movie ends in the middle of the story, and says "stay tuned for part II". Which does not exist yet....and actually never should. The plot and acting are mediocre, at best. Typical "a couple of guys can wipe out a small army" stuff. Things like a guy with a sniper rifle on a boat being able to hit a flare that has been shot into the air at night are just pathetic. I will definitely not be looking for a follow up. I'd rather sort my socks. See more Patrick D @RT48321338 Jul 23 This movie is absolutely click bait. I get they're looking for follers of this franchise, but to hold the viewer hostage by NOT titling this as "Part 1" and leaving the viewer high and dry is a mistake. This movie doesn't make the grade. Many scenes drag and the action is scarce, just as other reviews have stated. The director failed to often. I won't be waiting for "Part 2". See more Ramon L @Ramonelle Jul 22 The plot seems so absurd to me as well as the premises. There is very little action and too much idle talk. What's worse is that this was Part 1 only. I won't be watching Part 2 for it may be worse. See more Read all reviews
