05/05/2022 This is an excellent film, but harrowing to watch at times. This story needs to be told for a new generation and this film does it very powerfully. However, here's my question: :Just about every quarter of just about every year, we get a film about the 'Holocaust', yet there has not been 1 (one) film produced by Hollywood to date 60 years on, about the RUSSIAN 'HOLOCAUST' (The HOLODOMOR) Where somewhere between 40 & 60 Million Christian Russians were brutally & systematically Starved, Worked to Death in Gulags or outright Liquidated by the Bolsheviks (???) (*It really does beg the question: does the 'Holocaust' have a copyright of sorts on murder, pain & suffering? If not, why does it seem to upstage every other calamity that has occurred over the past century? If it's a question of numbers, why is it compulsory curriculum in school yet nothing is taught to our children about the Holodomor -or- the Armenian Genocide? See more 03/17/2019 Jewish or not, this film takes your breath away and may be deeply distressing if you have ever imagined what life might have been like inside a Nazi death camp. The acting and directly are very professional, the story uncompromising in detail and the horror of man's worst inhumanity to man is starkly depicted.
