Lucion V First of all let me say my review is a little biased. 🫣 I grew up reading the Solomon Kane comic books of the genre he was my favorite. I'm a little fuzzy of whether or not it followed the comic book story perfectly but I didn't care it was good enough the movie was spectacular in my eyes to see one of my childhood characters come to life in such a way this actor could not have been chosen better. The story was engaging there was action almost everywhere the excitement of what would occur it was a true hero's journey to face the big bad surprise at the end. Bem que os filmes são de gêneros similares, mas não iguais. Aqui temos Kane que foge de seu castelo e vai para o Mundo. Deixa para traz seu pai Josiah (Sydow) e acredita que matou seu irmão maldoso. E assim ele ganha destaque em várias batalhas e vencendo todas. Até o dia que a morte vem reenvidicar sua alma, então ele foge e decide viver uma nova vida, longe das batalhas e viver em paz de espirito. E vivendo assim ele depara com uma família que esta programando para ir a América. Mas mal feitores e uma gang onde um homem mal lidera toma a família e acaba matando pai e o filho, mas antes de morrer pede para Kane salvar sua filha. E dizendo que fazendo isso seria perdoado pelos pecados passados. E assim ele volta a ser o antigo Salommon e na busca da garota descobre que ela esta refém no castelo que é de sua família e la encontra seu pai preso e que seu irmão esta vivo. E na ultima batalha o feiticeiro, seu irmão e o demônio, derrota todos. Comparado com Van Helsing vemos aqui o orçamento é bem menor. Com um número bem menor de CGI e efeitos especiais. Roteiro e enredo Salommon é uma estória de gibi, eu nunca li. Por isso não sei comparar. È um filme mais sombrio. Mas não traz aquela tchan, impacto. Vale apena assistir? Para quem gosta este estilo de filme.
