It feels mid-tier in the same way Medieval felt mid-tier, but there are no glaringly out of place American accents in this. This was worth the watch but felt 15 minutes too long. The plot meanders a bit and the church scene about halfway in could have been removed or heavily shortened. STOP reading to avoid a slight spoiler. What was the point of the basement ghouls? Bad everything See more Lucion V Feb 20 First of all let me say my review is a little biased. 🫣 I grew up reading the Solomon Kane comic books of the genre he was my favorite. I'm a little fuzzy of whether or not it followed the comic book story perfectly but I didn't care it was good enough the movie was spectacular in my eyes to see one of my childhood characters come to life in such a way this actor could not have been chosen better. The story was engaging there was action almost everywhere the excitement of what would occur it was a true hero's journey to face the big bad surprise at the end.
