A grounded fusion of thriller and comedy. I felt the environment is a part of town I know exists yet have never observed. Some very strong character work here, especially from Barry Bostwick as the sheriff. Almost a hidden gem.

This was a Tubi-suggested movie. I thought it was great...I don't know why the audience rated it so poorly. It has some clean romance, a great twist I didn't even see coming, and a happy ending. Recommended viewing!

After all the junk I go through and I find a movie like this that was well filmed, well acted, good characters I was very happy to find this diamond in the rough. It's a black drama horror comedy, it's got some good drama with the main character and his daughter that's got humor it's got everything I was fully drawn every bit of this viewing.

This is basically one long, disingenuous con. The "twist" at the end is so preposterous you have to do a double-take because there's no way logically, as the movie played out, it could've been that way. So unearned and cynical. Audiences deserve better.
