02/15/2020 Entertaining look at mid 70s America. TV movie of the week. See more 08/09/2013 Honestly, if this movie had come out 10 years later, and been about AIDS rather than syphilis the seriousness with which it takes its subject might have been merited. From the opening scene, where a public health worker actually tracks down one infected person throughout the movie, it almost like we're seeing missing scenes from And the Band Played On, without any of the earth shaking drama and tragedy of a deadly and unexplainable pandemic.
