Audience Member I'm not familiar with the historical context of it, but it is beautifully shot, and expertly sounded. A true gem among early documentaries. Ceylon appears as if a dream (and this thing was funded by the Ceylon Tea Propaganda Board, of all people ... I wonder how they felt about having funded a piece of art vs. the pro-tea industry advertisement I imagine they were looking for).
